Day 36 pre-op
8 days pre vlcd.
Dinner last night:
Nachos with chilli beef.
Our sons flight was cancelled so we needed to change him to a different flight – which my Wife did – and he was now on the 9:30 flight instead of the 8:15 flight.
That’s ok – he was still going to be getting in before lunch, so not much of a disruption to the old plans.
Or so we thought…
It turns out my wife booked him on the PM flight, not the AM flight – so he’s now arriving just before midnight.
Because we have to drive through the ranges to get to the airport and back, we’ve decided to go down earlier and stay the night and come home in the morning.
Safer for us all that way.
With all the rains we have had over the last month, there have been a lot of accidents on the range and we’d rather not become a part of the new years statistics.
We’ve actually just had an alert come through that the entire area is now under a flood watch!
Anyway, today is the start of a fresh year.
A year that I fully believe will be life-changing – not just for myself, but for my whole family, in ways which we have yet to even imagine.
I feel like it’s gonna be a good one!
Happy New Year.
May it be healthy, and full of contentment and love…
