We’ve hit single digits!
Only 9 days until Surgery Day.
The next week is looking like a very busy week, and one in which I’m going to have to be very mindful of what I am eating, as we have a few luncheon and dinner dates organised; and also have our trip to the City.
For the last couple of days, I’ve spent most of the day feeling somewhat like I’m in a bit of a holding pattern – moving from one meal to the next, and one day to the next – because the countdown has absolutely become the main focus of my days, as it draws ever closer.
This is one of the difficult things about being a self-employed Farmer with no employees, as you don’t have other people around much at all, to take your mind off your own thoughts.
One of the things that I’ve recently enjoyed learning about is the difference between whey protein and collagen protein.
It’s quite interesting to find out what the different types of proteins do within your body and what they are best used for.
Definitely worth looking into if you haven’t already done so, so that you can best decide which you think will be best for your post-op recovery and your ongoing dietary needs.
