Day 26 pre-op
Day 2 pre-op VLCD.
Dinner last night:
Frittata, with a jelly and lemon mousse dessert.

“only” 8.5mm of rain since yesterday.
There is something shiny in the sky today, but that’s all I’m saying about that right now!!
I feel like my first day of VLCD went really well yesterday.
I didn’t feel at all like I was being deprived of anything and the only time I had a ‘moment’ was when I spotted what I thought was a mini Turkish Delight in the pantry, but as it turned out, I found out later it was just a wrapper, which was fine either way because I was determined that I wasn’t even going to touch it, let alone actually eat it!!
I did make sure that I kept myself busy, and I think that’s probably going to be the key for the next four weeks.
I called the hospital today as I haven’t heard back from them with the quote, and the lady from the finance department very kindly attended to it right away and sent it on through.
It’s actually slightly less than I imagined, so I hope they haven’t under-quoted!
I also emailed a list a questions to my Surgeon Dr E today, so hopefully it won’t take too long to get responses back for those.
Now I’m just waiting on the quote from the Anaesthetist!
I’ll email them on Friday morning if I haven’t heard back by then.
